Mr. Marc Pallot is chairman of the European Society of Concurrent Engineering. He has written several papers and articles in the field of Design Automation, Concurrent Engineering and Enterprise Integration (CALS).
Marc Pallot has about 15 years industrial experience within product design and CAD/CAM application. He is specialised in the domain of product development organisation and methodology. He studied Concurrent Engineering implementation for the French MoD and was CE lecturer for the NATO AC301D working group. He is involved in the CENT (Concurrent Engineering Needs and Technology) Esprit Project for Thomson-CSF. He has studied Mechanical science at the University of Clermont and Computer science at the National Conservatory of Arts and Metier. He was formerly Vice President Product Marketing and Engineering, WiN Technology. Prior to this, Mr.Pallot was Research and Development manager in a software company and worked on several Design Automation projects. He was an application manager at Applicon Inc., a CAD/CAM company; and a Product designer and CAD/CAM application manager at Thomson-CSF.
He is member of the ICP (Design & Manufacturing Engineering) scientific committee of the French Ministry of Research.
