The conference aim of CEE'96 (Concurrent Engineering Europe 1996) is to contunue upon the success of CEEDA'94 and CEEDA'92 (under the then tutelage of Prof.Sa'ad Medhat).CEE'96 aims to identify the progress that has been made in Concurrent Engineering over the last year, highlighting, the affliated research done in the emerging fields of synthetic environments and micromachining.
The conference will feature one Keynote Speaker and two Invited Speakers Focusing on the main tracks of the Conference, invited speakers will give special in-depth presentations in plenary sessions, which will be included in the Proceedings of the Conference.
The 1996 CEE Conferences will award the best papers, one in each track. From these papers the best overall paper will be chosen. The awarded papers will be published in an International Journal, if necessary after incorporating modifications to the paper.
The conference will be of direct benefit to Process, Production, Design or Development Managers in Manufacturing, Strategic Directors, Quality Managers and Technical Directors. The Conference will also be of interest to industrial and Academic Researchers.
