Theory and Practice of Stochastic Modelling (TPSM)

The stochastic modelling techniques are widely applied in engineering as a powerful tool for the evaluation of the complex systems. This efficiency comes from their capability to provide fast and accurate solutions.

The aim of the track is to present innovative academic and industrial research and techniques related to all aspects of stochastic modelling. Successful contributions may range from theoretical developments to advanced technologies and innovative applications.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Stochastic and Markov and Semi-Markov Models
  • Stochastic Process Algebras
  • Stochastic Petri Nets
  • Layered Queuing Networks
  • Stochastic Automata Networks
  • Stochastic Process Algebra
  • Stochastic Precedence Graphs
  • Stochastic Simulation
  • Stochastic Models of Intelligent Systems
  • Stochastic and probabilistic models of:

                - Web-Services and Grid

                - Multi-Agent Systems

                - Distributed and Fault-Tolerant Systems

                - Workflow Management Systems
