Torretta
The Tower as it looked a couple of centuries ago
It was built in the 13th century on the site of the existing
city walls.
The tower has been dedicated to Leon Pancaldo, a noble
navigator (first officer of Magellano's Admiral Ship), as a symbol
of the local seamanship .
