University of Genoa

The University of Genoa is one of the oldest in Italy (founded in 1471 a.C.).
There are about 40,000 students(about 8,000 new entries), and the engineering departments have about 7,500 attendees (12% in Savona Brench Departments);
in effect the new campus in Savona hosts 850 Engineering Students.
That campus is located about 2 km from Savona downtown, in an old complex of barracks recently converted into new university buildings (over an area of 70,000 m2).
