In its first online elections, due to Covid-19, the Council elected prof. Mauro Iacono, from Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy, president of ECMS for the period 2021-2023. Prof. Iacono already served as General Chair of ECMS 2019 and Program Chair of ECMS 2021, and is being chairing HiPMoS/MaSPECS for many years.
