Discrete Event Modelling and Simulation in Logistics, Transport and Supply Chains (LT)

The aim of the LT track is to offer researchers and practitioners, who are active in the field of basic and applied research on modelling, simulation and optimization of logistics and transport systems as well as supply chains, the opportunity to present, discuss and learn about the latest achievements in this area.

Topics covered include but are not limited to:

· Modelling and Simulation in Logistics
- Production and material flows
- Logistics process control
- Batch tracking and tracing
- Reverse logistics & facility planning
- Warehouse-transport interfaces

· Modelling and Simulation in Transportation
- Information systems and services delivery
- Navigation and location-based services provision
- Parking and other transport services
- Assistance for safe driving
- Traffic and road management (incl. environmental impact, traffic induced pollution)
- Travel demand management
- Selection and management of traffic controls
- Commercial and emergency vehicle operations
- Fleet management and logistics
- Public transport, maritime & harbour, intermodality, pedestrian & bicycle
