Gala dinner
Wieliczka Salt Mine
A gala dinner will be organised at the UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The 38th edition of the conference will be celebrated in the Warsaw chamber. It was built at the turn of the 20th century as a result of mining in the lignite salt seam, in an amount of about 20,000 tonnes. In 2003, new glass chandeliers were installed in the chamber. Its decoration is the miners’ monument made in a lump of salt in 1961.
The Wieliczka Salt Mine is located 14 km south-east of Cracow city centre in the town of the same name. We will all travel to the venue together from Cracow. Similarly, we will all return to the centre together.
